A new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and its players’ union could be negotiated before the 2010 draft, and the owners are expected to push for a rookie wage scale that would reduce the money that goes to high draft picks. It’s anyone’s guess whether the owners will be able to wrest such a concession from the union. But the mere possibility has not escaped the notice of [Matt] Stafford, [Knowshon] Moreno and other underclassmen considering the 2009 draft.
