Remember the mud pit that LSU and Penn State played in during this year's Capital One Bowl? It won't be an issue next year as the Citrus Bowl will be getting artificial turf sometime before next season's games.
That's good news considering the game gets first pick of SEC teams after the BCS bowls. A few other things will be getting spruced up, but this falls far short of the stadium overhaul that's been on hold for years thanks to declining tourism tax revenues during the Great Recession.
