Andy Katz: Tennessee Basketball to Receive Sanctions Tomorrow

1

ESPN's Andy Katz is reporting that Tennessee will receive its penalties tomorrow, based on sources telling him that the NCAA has given the school a heads up about it. Katz says Bruce Pearl will receive a multi-year show cause penalty (the worst available for a coach, as it makes one essentially un-employable) while his three assistants will receive one-year show cause penalties each. The report from Katz doesn't mention Tennessee football, which presumably doesn't have long to wait to hear on its penalties either.
