We didn't have a ton of voter participation -- which isn't all that unusual for the last poll, particularly when the results are so obvious. The first six and the last place on the ballot were all unanimous. Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee all took all but one of the votes for their respective places in the poll. That's about as close to a mindmeld as you're going to get among cranky voters.

LSU takes the final regular-season No. 1 spot in our SEC Power Poll -- which is not surprising given the way the season has gone. What is perhaps more surprising is how close Georgia came to passing Arkansas this week, a margin that could grow when we do this the next time, depending on how the showdown with LSU in Atlanta and the teams' bowl games go.
Beyond the five 10-win teams, it's a bit of a mish-mash. Auburn is the consensus pick after the Top 5, but Florida and Vanderbilt are close enough that the bowl finishes could make it an unusual season-ending poll. One thing that almost certainly won't change is Ole Miss' No. 12 spot.

C&F's SEC Power Poll Ballot for This Week
Because of the Thanksgiving weekend, voters got an extra day to submit their ballots this week.
1. LSU
So much for the whole "three-way tie" thing.
2. Alabama
Won't win the SEC West or the SEC, but the national championship isn't a bad consolation prize.
3. Arkansas
Stays at No. 3 until we see how Georgia does against LSU.
4. Georgia
The Dawgs can no longer avoid the LSU-Alabama-Arkansas group.
5. South Carolina
Any Gamecock fans disappointed to not playing in Atlanta this weekend should just remember how quickly they would have taken a 10-win regular season with victories against Florida, Georgia and Clemson a few years ago.

It's not unusual to see light turnout on a holiday week, especially one with so little change from the week before. The voters we did have sound off after the jump.
C&F's Power Poll Ballot
1. LSU
They're back in that "tearing down the stadium" mode they were in at the beginning of the season.
2. Alabama
They're about to lose their coach to Texas on a 10-year, $100 million contract. And if you believe that, I've got some lovely real estate here in Florida I'd like to offer you.
3. Arkansas
Yeah, Woo Pig Sooie
4. Georgia
Seriously, your big announcement that you're going to the SEC Championship Game is beating Kentucky 19-10?
5. South Carolina
Could have only the second 10-win season in school history during the only season in which they've swept the SEC East -- for all the good that's going to do them.

Every team ends up in the exact same position in our poll that they were last week. Sure, a couple of votes and margin might have changed, but nobody's going anywhere. That's not likely to change after a largely blah schedule this weekend.

Things are settling in at several places -- we have unanimous votes on the first three places, No. 7 and last place after last weeks epic Kentucky vs. Ole Miss showdown. Of course, settling in doesn't mean things have to make sense. Auburn beat South Carolina who beat Georgia, but our voters have gone Georgia higher than South Carolina higher than Auburn. (That seems to be more related to a reluctance to rank Auburn over Georgia, which leaves the Gamecocks able to claim some fourth-place votes that gives them an edge overall. If that's the case, it's fixed easily enough; the two teams play this weekend.)

A slow week. Georgia's thrilling win over a team that had lost its last three games was apparently enough to break the Dawgs' tie with South Carolina, though in fairness the Gamecocks spent the weekend scoring 14 points in Knoxville. Tennessee fell out of its tie with Mississippi State and Vanderbilt, the two teams that remained tied at eighth.
