A pair of SEC players, South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery and Alabama's Trent Richardson, will grace the cover of the upcoming Sports Illustrated college football preview issue (these are the two variant editions featuring them). Nebraska's Jared Crick, Stanford's Andrew Luck and Oklahoma's Landry Jones are the rest of the group that will appear on the extended version of the magazine's cover.

On May 17, the BCS renewed the bowl licenses for the beleaguered Fiesta Bowl and the Insight Bowl. Just more than a week later, the game organizers began sending these letters out to previous ticket buyers.

The cost? $155 per seat for the Fiesta Bowl and $25 to the Insight Bowl. Almost exactly the same as last year but these are general admission nosebleed seats, mind you. Parking is $30 and $20 respectively.

Thus, the circle of life is complete.
