Surely we can all agree that he was pretty good.
It's time to finish up our ballot for the SB Nation College Football Hall of Fame.
There's been a little change of plans here. Our job should be to decide the obvious, and there are so many quality players and coaches who came from the SEC that there is really only one person who is a blatantly obvious choice for the Hall of Fame. And that's Paul "Bear" Bryant, who will now have led three SEC teams (Kentucky, Texas A&M and Alabama) to quality finishes. So he's locked in.
But that's the only one who really shines above the others -- so we're going to let you guys figure it out in the poll below. Here are the rules: The players with the highest three vote totals will get onto our ballot, provided that the players have not played the same position. (We're limited to one nominee per position, so we'll just skip to the next name on the list.)
Voting closes at 6 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday. Campaigning in the comments is encouraged. Go.
