If there's anyone who doubts why combating concussions has to be a priority for football, the fact that CTE was on everyone's mind the moment we heard this news is why. It's tragic no matter what the cause is. If it's because of the game we and Seau loved and that game can be made safer, it is both tragic and tragically unnecessary.
