Predictions for each of this weekend's conference games.
Last week: 8-0 straight up, 2-6 against the spread
Season: 68-14 straight up, 31-47 against the spread
Like I said a couple of weeks ago, just go against me on the spread and you'll be doing fine.
South Carolina (-14) over Arkansas 38-20
Arkansas is my nemesis this year. Just when I think I have the Razorbacks figured out, they switch things up. I'll go with the SC defense here.
Florida (-27) over UL-Lafayette 38-17
This will be like a practice, and with the team banged up, and the starters other than Jeff Driskel are not going to spend any more time in the game than necessary.
Missouri (+3) over Tennessee 30-27
Home field is usually worth three points, so this is really like a pick 'em. I'm going with Mizzou here because they're on the upswing with players getting back healthy and they actually play some defense.
Alabama (-13.5) over Texas A&M 27-20
This Crimson Tide team is not as good at covering as you'd think, and A&M will get some points early.
Georgia (-14.5) over Auburn 48-13
With the rumors about a coaching change already swirling, this year's Auburn team is D-U-N done.
LSU (-15.5) over Mississippi State 34-10
I cannot tell whether this MSU team is better than Tennessee or not. That's not a good sign when you're about to play LSU.
Ole Miss (-2.5) over Vanderbilt 40-30
This should be one of the most entertaining games of the weekend. Too bad no one will see it on ESPNU.
