Alabama stays put atop this week's BlogPoll, but the movement below reflects the changes after a wild weekend in the SEC.

Alabama is still No. 1 in this week's BlogPoll, but its edge in first-place votes is starting to erode. We're sorry if Nick Saban sees that, Missouri. Truly sorry.

The other SEC notes, of course, are the tumbling of LSU and Georgia and the rise of South Carolina and Florida. The Gamecocks check in at No. 3 -- it still feels weird to say that -- and the Gators are No. 5 with nine first-place votes. LSU hangs around the Top 10 at No. 9, while Georgia's slide ended up at No. 13. Mississippi State ticked up two places to No. 19, while Texas A&M enters the poll at No. 24.

The conference is absent from the extracurriculars. So, you know, other than the huge explosion at the top of the league that smashed the preseason consensus, not much news here for SEC partisans.
