Texas A&M blog The Midnight Yell wwas able to get a hold of Texas' Longhorn Network contract with ESPN and IMG College via an open records request. Its analysis of it is linked in the big link above, which includes a link to the entire 50-page contract. It's not a bad take on it, and it certainly lays bare the concerns and fears that A&M fans have regarding the LHN. However, it's also obvious that it was written by someone who does not have experience looking at contracts. A commentary by someone who does know her way around contracts is from Kristi Dosh at her Business of College Sports blog. Read the other post first, but follow it up with this one. Some of the issues mentioned in the first post are merely quirks of how contracts are written these days.
