Tom D'Angelo of the Palm Beach Post is reporting that FSU has been "flirting" with the SEC for months and talks between the school and conference are getting more serious according to sources. That's still fairly weak with plenty of room for an out, but it's the first traditional media report to put an ACC school in "serious" talks about becoming the conference's 14th member. I actually wrote up a FanPost of this about an hour ago before deciding not to publish on the rationale that we can't be throwing every rumor and report up on the home page. Plenty of other traditional media folks have been repeating this one far and wide though, and it does come a responsible journalistic outlet. We'll continue to be careful about this stuff, but it's probably worth it to mention this one.
