After the USA Today's Danny Sheridan made his headlines yesterday, some reporters have been grilling him today. So far the only thing that has changed is that Sheridan admitted that his sources are not in the NCAA. Rather, they know people in the NCAA.
That does add a level of telephone game to this, so adjust your expectations accordingly. For what it's worth, Sheridan says these sources have been right on "45 of 46 NCAA-related stories" over the last decade or two. He's standing by them, but it's worth it to highlight the fact that they aren't actually NCAA employees.
