The long national nightmare is over. Stephen Garcia can once again participate in activities at the University of South Carolina.

Of course, we all knew this was coming sooner or later. The Head Ball Coach had to catch himself a few times recently from talking like Garcia was already back on the team. Much like Jim Tressel's resignation, Garcia's reinstatement was only a matter of time.

Anyway, he's back on "a probationary basis" and has to follow a certain set of guidelines, so he's not free to keep acting up. Still, this is not really surprising news.
