Take some time to read Erik Ainge's account of his struggles with drug and alcohol abuse and mental illness. He has sobered up - clean for eight months and counting - for the longest period of his life since he was 11. He once was popping 25 Percoset pills at a time, and he's been through travails with hard drugs such as heroin.

Good on him for finally breaking through, but it's overall a sad tale of what drugs can do to a person.
