In this video, Dan Mullen takes about half an hour from him bye week to explain to an economics class how he uses statistics in running his football team. It's an excellent overview of how a lot of coaches these days scout themselves and opponents. He talks very quickly (as always) and throws in a "school up north" line (as always), but overall, it's pretty enlightening if you've never heard a coach explain these things. He throws in a great anecdote at the end about how he confounded Ohio State in the '06 national championship game with a play call that scored a touchdown, so be sure to watch long enough to catch it.
