Injury Makes Kentucky Offense Even Worse
Kentucky is 118th in the country in points scored per game and 119th in yards gained per game. Its rushing offense is the better half of the offense, with its passing 119th nationally in passing efficiency, and it's at 104th nationally at 110 yards per game. The offense has been held under 200 total yards three times in six games. So if that wasn't bad enough, true freshman RB Josh Clemons has been lost for the season with a torn meniscus. He has 279 rushing yards and 53 receiving yards on the season, good for about 24% of the team's yards from scrimmage. He also accounts for 42.3% of the team's rushing yards and has a team high 4.3 yards per carry. The tall task ahead for UK just got even tougher.
