SEC Announces Players of the Week, TV Schedule
The SEC has put out its Players of the Week for last weekend's games. The names are not that surprising, except for maybe one:
- Co-Offensive: Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina) and Trent Richardson (Alabama)
- Defensive: Nick Fairley (Auburn)
- Special Teams: Jeff Demps (Florida)
- Offensive Lineman: Mike Pouncey (Florida)
- Defensive Lineman: Drake Nevis (LSU)
- Freshman: Lattimore
That's right: a week after being a complete disaster against Miami (OH), Pouncey bounced back to become offensive lineman of the week. Also, props to Fairley for 2.5 TFL, an INT, and a fumble recovery against MSU and to Nevis for 2.5 of LSU's six sacks against Vanderbilt.
The SEC also released the TV lineup for the weekend of September 26:
- CBS: Alabama at Arkansas, 3:30 PM ET
- ESPN: South Carolina at Auburn, 7:45 PM ET
- ESPN2: West Virginia at LSU, 9:00 PM ET
- ESPNU: Kentucky at Florida, 7:00 ET
- SEC Network: UAB at Tennessee, 12:21 PM ET
- FSN: Georgia at Mississippi State, 7:00 PM ET
- CSS: Fresno State at Ole Miss, 7:30 PM ET

Wow
8 pm kickoff in Death Valley? Seriously? There may not be 8 sober people in the entire stadium by that point.
...and
this is somehow different than any other LSU game in Death Valley?

It’s different because if anyone can keep up with LSU fans’ heroic alcohol intake rates, it’s West Virginia fans.

oughta be happy with their first non-11am (CST) game of the season.
