Live-Blogging Houston Nutt

11:09 a.m. CT -- "As you look at this year -- we lost a lot [of players]. We lost a lot. ... Jevan Snead went out early. We didn't anticipate that." Nor did anyone else who watched him play last year.

11:15 a.m. CT -- He's not looking at the early game as easy. "Jacksonville State had Florida State beat." Which is an insult to Florida State, not the other way around.

11:24 a.m. CT -- Not worried about the new mascot. "We're the Ole Miss Rebels and they're going to pick a good one."

11:25 a.m. CT -- Not only is Houston Nutt an enthusiastic coach, he's an agreeable interview. It seems like every question is a "key point" or a "great question."

11:29 a.m. CT -- Internet is slowing down again. They must only have one hamster wheel powering the wireless today.

11:30 a.m. CT -- "That School Up North"? "I don't know too much about that."

11:33 a.m. CT -- Houston Nutt's time at Boise State, did he lay the foundation, etc. "I don't think we had much to do with it." Only one season. "You could see this thing's going to be very, very special. You could see it coming."
