Live-Blogging Bobby Petrino (Arkansas. For Now.)
8:40 a.m. CT -- I'm late for Bobby Petrino. Which is dangerous, because he might be coaching a different team by the time you get there.
8:44 a.m. CT -- Running the ball is important. "I'm not saying we're going to be a ball control team." Well, yeah.
8:45 a.m. CT -- On the no early scholarship rule: Depends on how it's enforced. "I understand if it's a written offer." This is a man who knows about written and unwritten offers.
8:48 a.m. CT -- "The No. 1 thing I wanted to do with the cover [of the media guide] is not have me on it." One less thing to burn when he leaves town.
8:50 a.m. CT -- He talks about Facebook -- what are they? -- "friends." He seems uncomfortable with the concept itself.
8:55 a.m. CT -- What does he think about Nick Saban's agent ideas, give "your brief experience with the NFL." I'm not going out of my way on the job-jumping jokes; it just keeps coming up. (For the record, he thinks it might be a difficult thing to do.)

"I'm not going out of my way on job jumping jokes..."
Are you serious? 4 out of 6 comments so far are job jumping jokes. No one cares, it’s just not funny. Come on, let’s see some creativity. Make fun of him for having the personality of a pet rock, something guys.
if there's one joke that never ever ever gets old...
…it’s a Bobby Petrino job-jumping joke. Each one is like a little diamond…perfectly crafted and yet utterly unique.
Correction:
It’s not funny to the teams he’s coaching this week. To the rest of us, it’s freaking hilarious.
I would prefer some creativity, as well.
The first one is pretty funny. It’s witty, at least; I can appreciate that.
The second one is forcing it, but it happens.
By the time the third one comes around, it’s like “Really? Isn’t that the same joke from 2 seconds ago?”
Oh, well. What’re you going to do?
