Coaches' All-SEC Team Released; Guess What They Didn't Include?
The coaches' All-SEC team has been released today, ahead of SEC Media Days, but the conference has made a very wise decision. It did not indicate whether any players on the team were unanimous. That goes against my openness instincts as a journalist, but I'm not sure you can really blame the league for this move, which should end any "WHY IS RYAN MALLETT NOT UNANIMOUS WHY WHY WHY???" at Media Days. Maybe unanimous selections should be announced post-MD. Just a suggestion.
Your first-team headliners: QB Ryan Mallett, RB Mark Ingram, WR A.J. Green, WR Julio Jones, C Mike Pouncey, DL Marcell Dareus, LB Chris Marve.

Alabama -- 6

wow
We have less than Vanderbilt.. but I unfortunately can’t say I disagree.
If you see J.T. Bowtie, tell him to find me in the grove... if he can get in.

Can't disagree too much...
though Lockett probably deserves to be on the second team at least.
