South Carolina Goes to College World Series Championship

Stay connected for news and updates

The only SEC team remaining in Omaha won two in a row against Clemson to head to the championship series against UCLA. Congratulations to the Gamecocks for having a shot at a national championship in ... well, anything, really.

Jackie Bradley Jr. extended his hitting streak to 21 games in the two showdowns, as well as scoring a run and driving in two. Expected to go two or three innings Friday, Michael Roth instead pitched a complete game in the 5-1 Gamecocks win. Sam Dyson and Matt Price pitched just well enough Saturday to help South Carolina to the 4-3 win.

The championship series against UCLA begins Monday.
