Death, Taxes, and Jackie Sherrill Fighting the NCAA

There are precious few certainties in life, but the NCAA and Jackie Sherrill not seeing eye-to-eye is one of them. Almost seven years after he announced his retirement, he's still in the midst of a six-year-long lawsuit against the NCAA claiming that it conspired to push him out of the coaching business. At least I think that's what's going on. I've read this article three times and I'm still not 100% sure of anything other than that Sherrill is just as crazy as always. Things that happened while he was at Mississippi State are part of this, but the suit doesn't directly involve the school. Still, if I was asked to guess as to who would spend over a half a decade in court suing the NCAA, Sherrill would be in my top three.
