Around SBN: Kentucky Basketball: Where the Wildcats Stand as of Today

There are precious few certainties in life, but the NCAA and Jackie Sherrill not seeing eye-to-eye is one of them. Almost seven years after he announced his retirement, he's still in the midst of a six-year-long lawsuit against the NCAA claiming that it conspired to push him out of the coaching business.

At least I think that's what's going on. I've read this article three times and I'm still not 100% sure of anything other than that Sherrill is just as crazy as always. Things that happened while he was at Mississippi State are part of this, but the suit doesn't directly involve the school.

Still, if I was asked to guess as to who would spend over a half a decade in court suing the NCAA, Sherrill would be in my top three.

Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". "And that's just what these hustlers look for. They cruise from casino to casino looking for weak dealers the way lions look for weak antelope".
