Sprints Is In This Mad Season // 03.04.10
Session is here
Those who have read the blog for a while know I am a capitol reporter for a newspaper in Florida. The legislative session began Tuesday, which means I now work insane hours and so have less time for doing this -- or anything else. I'll continue to try to write as many posts as possible, but apologies in advance for days (such as Wednesday) when I produce little or no material.
I didn't know Joe Haden went to Ohio State
The cornerback might not be drafted as high because he had slow 40 times during one day at the NFL Combine. This is why the entire NFL Draft is slightly insane.
Alabama plays Georgia. You know how this turns out
The Tide won 13-2 in a game played in Hoover between two SEC teams that is not an SEC game. No, that doesn't make any sense. Yes, it's true.
Other baseball games:
South Carolina 15, Presbyterian 0
Vanderbilt 10, Tennessee Tech 1
Auburn 7, Davidson 6
Auburn 7, Davidson 6
(Not a typo)
Eastern Kentucky 8, Tennessee 7 (10)
Today: LSU vs. Pepperdine at 7:30 p.m. ET and Kentucky at San Diego State set for 9 p.m. ET.

Hopefully Haden will improve his speed at the Gator pro day
So everything will be right again. I know hes fast enough, theres no way he only runs a 4.6. He would of been blown away against AJ Green or some other fast college recievers I cant think of. lol

Thankfully . . .
. . . this happened, or you’d be right about Georgia and Alabama, at least from 2008 forward, which is the only period of time that seems to be relevant in anything.
Seriously, I have no idea what we possibly could have done as a program or as a fan base to justify the unremitting bad karma of the last two years. I know you’re a South Carolina fan, C&F, but even you wouldn’t wish the last two years, two months, and counting on us . . . and, even if you think we’re the worst people ever, we aren’t so much worse than the other folks in the the league that we deserve this.
Sigh.
