Friday Sweet 16 Open Thread
The SEC is now 1-for-1 on the tournament's second weekend thanks to Kentucky putting Cornell away. Can it continue?
SCHEDULE
6 Tennessee vs. 2 Ohio State - 7:07 ET
Neither Tennessee nor its coach Bruce Pearl have ever made it past the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. To do so tonight, the Vols must defeat 2-seed Ohio State along with its player-of-the-year candidate Evan Turner. Its head coach Thad Matta has advanced beyond this point before, having gone to an Elite 8 at Xavier and a championship game at his current school.
There's a lot of history to overcome here, but hey, how history was behind Northern Iowa's upset of Kansas in this same regional?

Well, Tenneessee pulled it. Good for them. Maybe the conference can get two into the Final Four again like in 2006.
