Boise State's Wilcox to Tennessee as DC

ESPN is reporting that Oregon's Boise State's Justin Wilcox is heading to Tennessee to become the Vols' defensive coordinator. This is a big hire because, while most people think of Chip Kelly's offense when they think of the Ducks, it was Oregon's best defense of the decade that really helped the team snare the Pac-10 title.

Correction: that's Boise State's Justin Wilcox, not Oregon's. Anyway, the same sort of thing applies. Folks think of offense and trick plays when they think of BSU, but its defense is why it wins all those games. I blame signing day for scrambling my brain.

A FanPost gives the opinion of the fan who writes it and that fan only. That doesn't give the opinion more or less weight than any other opinion on this blog, but the post does not necessarily reflect the view of TSK's writers.

Justin Wilcox played for the Ducks

But Tennessee hired him away from Boise State.

Every few minutes, it hits me.
