Just sad news all around. Mississippi State is confirming reports that Nick Bell has passed away.
He was a 20-year-old in peak physical condition who played in a couple of games this season. Now, cancer has taken him from this world. It's just a sad reminder of how awful and indiscriminate that disease is.
Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, teammates, and coaches as they deal with this loss. Hug your loved ones today, and consider supporting cancer research. The day we see a cure for this terrible disease in any of its forms will be a great day indeed.

MSU Athletic Dept has established a Memorial Fund to assist the Bell Family. Donations can be made through Bullldog Club at 662-325-3074.
