Ole Miss' dynamic DE Greg Hardy will miss Saturday's game due to an ankle sprain against Memphis on the 5th. Could it be a blow to the Rebels' chances to fulfill their lofty expectations?

In a word, no: they're playing Southeast Louisiana. If Hardy had a broken fingernail I'd want him to sit if I was Houston Nutt, because no one remembers early season style points and he'll be needed down the road.

The only reason to play Greg “Man of Steel Glass” Hardy against Southeastern Louisiana would be to pad his stats anyway. He should be ok to go against South Carolina, but you never know with him.

What sucks the worst is that the ankle sprain came from an illegal block.
