Will Joe Cox Start for Georgia?

UPDATE, 1:45 p.m. ET: Hale says yes. As does Mike Bobo via the AJC. (Twitter HT to an alert reader)

We'll try to sort this out in Sprints.

--

Maybe. Maybe not. Per Joe Schad:

A person close to sophomore quarterback Logan Gray had said earlier in the day that Gray was expected to start due to an arm issue that limited Cox's repetitions this week.

But the [Georgia] spokesperson said that while Gray has taken some first-team repetitions this week, Cox was still on schedule to start.

I'm not sure if you could call the potential loss of Joe Cox a crushing blow for the Dawgs, thought it isn't good to lose your starting QB a few days before the SEC opener regardless of his performance the previous week.

Stay tuned.
