Sometimes work sucks. In the case of last night, it sucked up all the time I was going to spend on part two of the quarterbacks piece. C'est la vie for an IT worker; when you hear "we've got a potential problem in production if we don't fix this today," you gotta fix it today (and thankfully, we did).

So in lieu of some real, substantive content, I give you former Florida linebacker James Bates doing his Steve Spurrier impression. Perhaps it explains Spurrier's troubles in getting top talent in at Columbia, seeing as how he's lost his big recruiting pitch...

There’s a deep aspect to Spurrier’s voice that he doesn’t get. Spurrier’s voice is very odd, because it’s almost squeaky and deep at the same time. Not bad, but not great.
