Back to Back, and Then Back to Back Again

PrintLSU baseball players Ryan Schimpf and Blake Dean had back to back home runs in the 5th inning last night against Tulane. Then, later in the inning, they had back to back home runs again. No one has yet found any record that this has ever happened before in any level of baseball. The perhaps unprecedented achievement put the headlines to an otherwise ho-hum 13-2 victory over Tulane.
Brevity is the soul of wit.
