Ole Miss is Going to the Cotton Bowl Again
According to ESPN, the Cotton Bowl officials have made their selections. Ole Miss will be headed back to the game and will face Oklahoma State from the Big 12.
I wasn't really buying the speculation out there that the game wouldn't take Ole Miss in back-to-back years since the game has changed venue. Even the most disappointed Rebel fan after the Egg Bowl would have to be intrigued at seeing the Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington.
The second bowl bid in a row for Ole Miss is the first time since 1997-99 that the Rebels have been bowling in consecutive years. The two Cotton bowl invites are the best consecutive bowl bids for the team since they went to the 1970 Sugar Bowl and 1971 Gator Bowl.

Not to be picky...
but we went bowling after the ‘02 and ’03 seasons (Indy and Cotton, respectively). Granted, the Indy bowl was in Dec 02 and the Cotton was in Jan 04, so technically it wasn’t consecutive years, only consecutive seasons
