Todd ties the Auburn record for touchdown passes in a season and Alabama is in serious trouble.

Auburn off to a great start!
I wouldn’t mind seeing #2 Bama get beat :)

Todd now holds the single-season touchdown record at Auburn
With the possible exception of Jonathan Crompton, has there been a better rebound story in college football?
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
That may be true
but he has killed them at key points today.
I am considerably more confident after watching the past three quarters, although I still think Bama wins this game.

Nice...
After Auburn killing Ingram’s shot and if Carolina is able to keep Spiller in check for the rest of the game, all I need is for Mickey Andrews to somehow find a way to make the Tebow look mortal so Colt can win the Heisman…

I’m hoping that Snead played Joe Cox’s normal game this afternoon, and that Cox is going to have typical-Snead game this evening against the Gnats from the North Ave. Trade School…

Congrats to South Carolina, by the way – fantastic way to close the regular season. (And it’s heartening to not see the OBC fall behind 0-2 to a guy named after a Ferengi game of chance.)

Great
Tessitore and Gilmore should be happy after ignoring the game last night to instead campaign full-time for Boise to get into the Fiesta Bowl. They should really be suspended by ESPN for that.
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
Boise if Tessitore and Gilmore have anything to say about it
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
It’s not a great crop of big conference teams this year in the at-large pool – an undefeated Boise is a pretty reasonable proposition. So long as they don’t get matched against TCU (which could probably only happen in the Fiesta.)
Fox and the BCS have a little-known contract provision that allows them to shuffle the matchups
They can only do it after the teams have been selected, though. So you could see the Fiesta take TCU and Boise only to see them split up for ratings’ sake.
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
Wow.
Thompson just pulled on the CB’s jersey so hard the shoulder pad popped out…..right in front of the ref. No call, as usual.
I just shocked
that enough people watch enough of it to be able to complain about things like persistent fouling…
Persistent fouling is actually a yellow-cardable offence – if a guy’s been going at it for most of the game, without ever committing a really bad foul, the ref will eventually book him.
Soccer was my first love.
I still watch it.

Steve Addazio deserves to be fired.
Both for his playcalling, and his destruction of a talented O Line. By far, the most disappointing unit for me this year. They were supposed to be a strength.
And that’s why Riley Cooper is going to make his professional money as a baseball player… and that’s why Hernandez will likely be a first round pick whenever he comes out.
He probably would've gone this past year...
if he hadn’t been picked by the Rangers…..that outfield is going to be crowded for a while…

SEC people have always asked me why I hate FSU more than any SEC rival.
The answer then, as it is now, the fans, the fans, the fans.
They’re actually being quite tame, for their standards. The scariest part is that TN is by, far, the most level-headed FSU site out there.

Unreal.....
How dare that FSU player allow himself to be blocked into Hernandez and ruin Tebow’s screenplay! Who does he think he is!!!
No, but I’d rather you didn’t whine about every triviality all game long. I can assure you I won’t be doing the same in your game.
if my team is enjoying this same level of treatment...
then please feel free to point out every single anything during the game. I just want to win, and I’d gladly deal with all the hecklers and nay-sayers in the world for that win.
I count three...
instances where I pointed out a missed penalty call. One of those was borderline, so I’ll take that one. But seriously, that’s “every triviality all game long?” Off the high horse, please…
I count four, plus the Tebow thing. But frankly, I don’t care that much – this is usually a pretty mellow, and it seemed little edgier today. Pax?
my apologies if I came off as edgy...
most of my meaningless ranting is meant in sarcasm, which is very difficult to convey online. Pax indeed, and thanks.
Honours even – it’s been a surprisingly stressful season for Florida fans, and our fuses have gotten quite short, so we’re snapping when we shouldn’t be. Apologies from me as well, and good luck with GaTech tonight.
thanks...
nothing surprises me with the Dawgs anymore. We could win by 30 or lose by 30 and it wouldn’t shock me either way. We have discovered a whole new level of inconsistency…
They’re pretty entertaining for a neutral, which Florida really isn’t. That’s not much consolation, I know. :)
Though this has been a pretty good day for upsets, and the ACC has been striking out all day against the SEC.
Question.
How will Florida react once Tebow is gone? Will it get some hair plugs, buy a sporty car, and tool around the SEC with a hot young quarterback in its passenger seat?

Texas' weren't bad
But other than that one, I pretty much agree that the Pro Combat uniforms are one reason to be glad South Carolina went with Under Armour.
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
That's because Mack gave Nike an ultimatum...
basically said don’t mess with it too much or we ain’t doing it. I’m kinda glad. They looked SO much better than Va Tech’s version…
Definitely some mixed results. Florida’s were OK – I didn’t like the white stripe curving across the butt, and the spirograph could have been replaced by something more topical, like gator scales. (Nike has done that for the basketball unis.) Also torn on the helmets – the alt version was actually quite nice, but I happen to like the standard version, which has a lot of brand equity now.
Or Ryan Mallett could continue throwing to wide-open defensive backs

Is Georgia's entire season starting in a few minutes or is that an overstatement?
Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.
I dunno...
while my knee-jerk reaction is a resounding ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY, Bulldog nation is going into this one pretty pessimistically. Me being the eternal optimist, I go into each game expecting to win. Needless to say, it’s been a long season. On the whole, I think it’s a bit of an overstatement, but a win at Bobby Dodd (where the nerds haven’t won since 1999 against us) would not only lessen the sting (no pun intended) of a disappointment of a season, but would give us serious momentum going into next year with a TON of players returning…
A win would really help with bowl positioning too – if Tenn wins and UGA loses, the Dawgs would be tail-end Charlie in the SEC’s bowl eligible teams. But a rousing win – the best of the day for the SEC if you guys spring the upset – could potentially leave you behind only LSU and Ole Miss.
Very true...
A win puts us in either Atlanta or Nashville, but a loss most certainly puts us in Birmingham. Yay.

If I were to tell you that one of these teams would have 200+ on the ground at the half...
which one would you have guessed? Pardon me for getting a bit excited, lol….
GaTech has two dirty little secrets – first, their defence isn’t really that hot, and second, their offence is more about scheme than talent. Every so often they bump into someone with superior personnel who isn’t fooled by the triple-option… and they get thumped.
Wasn’t expecting UGA to be one of those someones – but hey, no-one was expecting LSU to be one of them either.
