Warren Norman: Officially Better Than Herschel Walker
He finished the game with 1,941 all-purpose yards on the season, 136 more all-purpose yards than the 1,805 Herschel Walker had as a freshman at Georgia.

All yards are not equal.
It’s much easier to pick up 25 yards on an average quality kickoff return than it is when running between the tackles like Herschel did.
Somehow I don’t think Warren Norman will be surpassing Herschel Walker in SEC lore.
especially
if you give up 8 scores a game – that gives you lots of kickoff return opportunities. He starts with 120 or so yards right off the bat.
Norman shares carries too – so comparing his stats to Herschel’s is sort of like comparing apples to tractors.
