Not trying to stir the pot at all, i swear

But are you leaving Bama at #1 because of all the controversy that was caused with your ballot a week ago (or whenever that was)?? Like, do you really think Bama is #1 or what? Just curious.

Coin flip

I think there is a lot of misperception out there about the Ala/UTk game. I know what the stats are and what the Tennessee faithful like to believe they say about the game but a quick recap of the game up until about 2 minutes remaining has Tennessee trailing by two scores with Alabama holdig the ball and looking ot run out the clock. Things only changed with Ingram’s final carry. Tennessee played a great final 2 minutes but still came up short. Remember, if ingram, who ‘never’ fumbles holds on to the ball the Tide is all but taking a knee for the remainder of the game. Things happened as they did and Alabama got an ugly, thrilling win.

Florida’s win was equally as ugly.

Polls are week to week based on resume but just compare the last two weeks performances of Florida and Alabama and you can see why the slight edge might be given to the Crimson Tide.

That stated, I would still have Florida #1. (To my mind, undefeated, defending national champs stay #1 until they are defeated) And on a neutral field, like in say Atlanta, a game between the two today would likely be a “pick’em” game.
