Well, Nick Saban didn't have to go far to find his new linebackers coach. In fact, he needed only go down the road to Auburn-Opelika, it appears. The cruelest cut? Not only was James Willis the only Tuberville holdover in the Chizik Junta -- Auburn is his alma mater. Terms being used at Track Em Tigers include "Benedict Arnold" and a comparison to "Robert Gates becoming Iraq's Secretary of Defense." And that's from the first two comments. I'm tempted to say this could get interesting -- but it already has.

I don’t blame barners for being pissed…cause i sure would be but to claim that Willis and Saban conspired to get back at Auburn is just asinine…once they calm down they will see it was just a business decision.

Now is Nick cracking a smile about the whole thing? Probably not….he wanted a good coach to replace Thompson and he found a good one.. Plain and simple.

When you are an Alabama fan you are expected to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because I want to.

My question is..

What would be so “treasonous” about Robert Gates becoming Iraq’s secretary of defense? Aren’t we supposed to be, you know, helping them? Getting them to the point where they can defend themselves?
