This, to me, perfectly illustrates the problems with a playoff

First of all, whenever Texas beats Oklahoma, it’s an “upset,” which is bizarre, since we saw what happened when those two teams “settled it on the field.” Just an example of how different games on different days between the same two teams can provide different results. Which is why a playoff is no more perfect or imperfect than the current system. You’re increasing the importance of those outliers by making them all-or-nothing, not decreasing them.

Team Speed Kills. All SEC, all the time.

I think the problem with their computations is that they have upsets in like 25% of games, including obvious non-possibilities...

like VT and Oklahoma in the first round of mine.
