The SEC's poet WR is done
Dicky Lyons Jr., the Kentucky wideout who caused a sensation at SEC Media Days, is done for the season and for his college career. We wish him as speedy a recovery as possible and hope he gets to take his game and mouth to the NFL.

If anything, I think this might increase his soundbite gems...
He has nothing else to do, and who else would you go to if you needed a quote from someone around the UK offense (if it can honestly be called that). I actually like to refer to it as the anti-offense.

This season, Auburn saves anyone in the SEC
from having the worst offense. Nice of Tubs, really.

You are correct, but with one key difference
UK isn’t trying to self-destruct their own offense. Sure play calling has been suspect and conservative, but Auburn went out of their way to blow up their own offense. They hired a coordinator who only knows one way to run an offense (kind of an indictment of his own offensive mind, really) and then proceed to not run that system. Now everyone is unhappy, unsure, and most importantly unsuccessful. UK made no change in scheme, philosophy, etc. They are trying but are just merely incompetent.
